Read the excerpt from "Annabel Lee," by Edgar Allan Poe.
It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of Annabel Lee;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.
How does the rhythm of the excerpt support the theme of the poem?
The rhythm of the excerpt support the theme of the poem as:
Option B
The rhythm is consistent, and Poe celebrates the simplicity of young love. The cadence of the selection upholds the topic of the sonnet, on the grounds that the mood is reliable, and Poe praises the effortlessness of youthful love.
Annabel Lee is the last total sonnet created by American creator Edgar Allan Poe. In the same way as other of Poe's sonnets, it investigates the topic of the demise of a lovely lady.
The storyteller, who went gaga for Annabel Lee when they were youthful, has an affection for her so solid that even holy messengers are desirous.
Annabel Lee is a sonnet described by a lost youngster his first love, Annabel Lee. She was killed by holy messengers in Heaven, who were envious of the storyteller and Annabel Lee's affection for one another.
Now in the sonnet, we actually see nothing terrible that is going to occur. He is simply discussing a young lady whose main consideration on the planet is to cherish the storyteller, and be adored by him. Later on in the sonnet we will see the reason why that is unthinkable, however here, there is still no word regarding that.

Although Ralph criticizes the boys for their lack of cooperation, does he bear some of the responsibility for the failures of the group to achieve its goals? Why or why not?
Ralph, the leader in 'Lord of the Flies', bears some responsibility for the group's failures due to his inability to motivate and assert authority, yet it is also influenced by the boys' inherent inclinations.
Explanation:
The subject of responsibility in regard to the failures of the group in William Golding's 'Lord of the Flies' is complex. While Ralph is designated as the leader, it's essential to recognize that leadership is not solely reliant on one individual but the collective cooperation of the group as well. However, as the leader, Ralph does bear some responsibility for the lack of order and achievement of goals.
Ralph's main flaw is his inability to motivate and exert authority. He struggles to assert his stance and fails to inspire respect, which contributes to the deterioration of order. Yet, it's also possible to argue that the other boys' descent into savagery was not solely because of Ralph's weak leadership, but also due to their own inherent inclinations.
