Answer:

My issue that I chose was: Increasing minimum driving age.

As you all know the minimum driving age is 16 for a driver’s license. I believe that it should be greater. This is because the younger you are when driving the less responsibility, you have. I think it should be 18. But I still think that the drivers permit should stay at 15 because then they can have more practice with there parents/trusted adults with drivers license so when you do get your license you are more experienced.

It also can be taken care of by parent permission. When the parent decides that the kid is ready enough then they can take their test. Then the parent will be asked if the kid is ready for a driver’s license and if yes is said then they can take the driver’s test. But it can’t just be any time they have to had been driving for at least one year or more. The more people you ask the different answers you’ll get but this is just my opinion.

The convention chose Senator Hannibal Hamlin of Maine for vice president and former representative Abraham Lincoln of Illinois for president.

Senator William H. Seward of New York was widely considered to be the front-runner going into the 1860 convention, but Lincoln, Governor Salmon P. Chase of Ohio, former representative Edward Bates of Missouri, and Senator Simon Cameron of Pennsylvania all had significant support from delegates. On the first ballot, Seward was in the lead but fell short of a majority; Lincoln came in a close second.

The Lincoln ticket In the end, Hamlin won the 1860 presidential election. What are the 2 factions that make up the Islamic religion and what is the main difference between these
"Shia and Sunni Muslims"
"They have different religious practice/leaders"

Hoped This Helpe, Jessotcazs
Your Welcome :)

Final answer:

Islam's two main branches are Sunni and Shia, differing in the rightful leadership succession and source of religious authority. Sunnis favor democratic leadership selection and community consensus whereas Shias uphold a hereditary line of leadership from Prophet Muhammad's family.

Explanation:

The two most prevalent divisions of Islam are Sunni and Shia, which emerged after the death of the Prophet Muhammad. These sects differ primarily in beliefs regarding the rightful successor to Muhammad and the source of religious authority. The Sunnis, making up about 84 percent of Muslims, believe that the successor should be elected from the Muslim community and follow the established traditions or Sunnah of the Prophet. They do not place any special religious authority in individuals post-Muhammad's era. On the other hand, Shias, comprising about 15 percent of the Muslim population, believe in a hereditary line of succession that originates from Muhammad's cousin and son-in-law Ali. They hold their imams in high esteem as they are considered to be divinely appointed leaders with the ultimate authority on religious matters. These fundamental differences have led to varied interpretations of Islam and distinct religious practices within each faction.

Madison believed the solution can be found in the extended republic that the framer created. Madison recognized the ineffectiveness of trying to eliminate passion or human sinfulness and as an alternative designed a system that minimalized the effect of factions and still delivered the utmost amount of liberty for its citizen.

URGENT. write a paragraph about African Americans serving on the side of the patriots during the Revolution.

Answers

During the American revolution, the Patriots side was heaviliy outnumbered by The British. On top of that, the patriot's weapons were also inferior.
In such a desperate moment, the patriots decided to obtain any help that they can, by opening an opportunity for African Americans (from both northern and southern sides)  to join the Revolution army in order to achieve freedom from the British.

Answer:

The American patriots’ demand for liberty was ironic considering that slavery was practiced in each of the 13 colonies in 1775. Despite being denied their own liberty, thousands of African Americans fought for the patriots’ cause during the Revolution. George Washington, the Continental Army’s commander, was initially hesitant about recruiting African Americans and arming them to serve in the Revolution. He feared they might revolt against the colonists for their own rights, rather than fight against the British. But he quashed his inhibitions because the Continental Army was badly outnumbered by the British troops and their Hessian recruits. Initially, in 1776, only free blacks with some prior military experience were enlisted. Then in 1777, all free blacks were welcomed into the Continental Army, and later that year, all blacks, both free and enslaved could enlist.

The Taft-Hartley Act was proposed overriding the veto by President Harry S.Truman. Congress passed the Taft-Hartley Act in 1947 to control the power of labor unions. The correct answer is Saigon.

The Fall or the Liberation of Saigon was the capture of the city of Saigon, the capital of South Vietnam. The city was captured by the People's Army of Vietnam and the Viet Cong on April 30th, 1975.

The capture of Saigon was preceded by Operation Frequent Wind, which was the evacuation of almost all American civilians and military personnel in Saigon, along with thousands of South Vietnamese civilians. This was the largest helicopter evacuation in history.

The Fall of Saigon was the start of the transition period which led to the unification of both parts of Vietnam into the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

why is middle ages also known as dark ages

Answers

The Middle Ages is also referred to as the "Dark Ages", because of the series of dark events, during this period, there was a loss of intellect, the lack of Latin writings, frequent warfare among the people  and the loss of urban life. It is also considered to be the Dark ages because of the frequent famine and spread of diseases during this period.

Final answer:

The term "Dark Ages" was used to describe the Middle Ages as a time of decline from classical civilization, but modern historians argue that this era saw significant advancements, challenging the notion that it was a period of darkness.

Explanation:

The Middle Ages, also known as the Dark Ages, is a period that was initially characterized by Petrarch and later Renaissance scholars as a time of intellectual decline and cultural stagnation, which they believed represented a break from the achievements of the Classical civilizations of Ancient Greece and Rome. This term has been widely debated and criticized by modern historians who argue that the Middle Ages was, in fact, a period of significant cultural, technological, and educational advancements. Characterizing the Middle Ages solely as the "Dark Ages" is misleading given the period's contributions to the development of universities, literature like the Canterbury Tales and the Divine Comedy, and significant legal and ecclesiastical reforms.

The term "Dark Ages" originated with Petrarch, who saw this era as a period of decline from the classical learning and enlightenment of the Greek and Roman civilizations. However, this view oversimplifies a complex historical period that saw the rise of Christianity, which brought new philosophies and ways of thinking, fundamental changes in political and economic systems, such as feudalism, and remarkable cultural achievements despite the many challenges of the era.
